                                                                  Royal Wave
Make waves by using large hot rollers on dry hair, setting large sections in alternating directions, then either run your fingers or brush back through once the rollers are removed.

Nicole Richie's long layers have subtle waves that gently sweep away from her face.

Mist damp hair with texturizing spray and then blow-dry haphazardly while shaking out your hair with your fingers. While your hair is still warm from blow-drying, roll a two-inch section around three fingers and pin$20up at the root to cool. After 10-15 minutes, remove the pins and finger-style hair into shape. Create a center part and add jeweled headband to complete your style.

Nicole Ritchie adds a retro vibe to her barely wavy hair with a series of gold interlaced headbands.Start with straight, dry hair and create a center part. Starting about five inches away from your scalp, wrap a two-inch section of hair loosely around a large curling iron. Hold in place for a few seconds to set the curl, then release. Repeat, alternating directions of the curl until all of your hair is wavy. Run your fingers through your hair to create a soft, barely there wave and add a headband as desired.
